— Get the app
Before You Lend is free, forever. Put it on your home screen like any app — no store, no account, no cost, and it works offline once it's yours. Keep it next to the kitchen table, where these loans get made.
On iPhone: tap Share, then "Add to Home Screen." · On Android: tap the menu (⋮), then "Install app" or "Add to Home screen." The mark lands on your phone, and the paper travels with you.
The Loan — Names, Numbers, And The Way Back
Fill in the loan the way it was agreed — out loud is not enough. The amount lent is never shown without the total to be repaid standing beside it. When every field is whole and both acknowledgments are checked, the sheet prints: the terms, the full repayment plan, the payment ledger, and a signature line for each of you. Print two copies — one for each hand that signs.
The Way Back — How It Gets Repaid
Pick the shape of the repayment. Monthly interest is counted on the balance still owed, month by month, in whole cents. For a single repayment, interest is counted simply, day by day, from the start date to the day it is paid back.
The Understanding — Both Names, Both Boxes
The sheet does not print until both of these are checked. They are the whole point of the paper.
The Ledger — Every Payment, Marked
As money comes back, mark it here — the date and the amount. The balance still owed counts down from the total to be repaid under this plan. The ledger prints with the sheet.

A written record between the parties — not legal advice. For large amounts, a lawyer should read it before anyone signs.
